Rooney gravestones PEI

In March 2009 I received another email from Colleen.She had braved the deep snow and took a trip to the cemetery at Iona to see if she could find the gravestone of Phillip Rooney who left Roslea in 1847. Her patience paid off and she was able to send me some great photographs of his gravestone and also other Rooney gravestones.

So plenty of research has been done on these Rooneys after they landed in Canada, and now we are pretty sure that they came from Corragunt. But which Rooney family does Phillip belong to?

Looking through the rent cancellations for Corragunt it seems that an Arthur Rooney moved there in 1865.

He belonged to a family known as the Tommy Rooneys, so I am wondering if phillip was also from the same family?
