2.  OWEN² ROONEY (OWEN¹) was born 1849 in kilcreen, Co Monaghan, and died 1921 in kilcreen, Co Monaghan.  He married CATHERINE MCKENNA Feb 1881 in St Tierneys Roslea Co Fermanagh¹, daughter of FRANCIS MCKENNA and MARY FARMER.  She was born 1853 in Derryartry, County Monaghan, and died 22nd May 1902 in kilcreen, Co Monaghan.
