Other Rooney Families...can you help?

I am married to Graeme ROONEY and we live in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand,The information I have is
ROONEY William married to Jane BARTON
The information I have been given by deceased family member was they
farmed on a farm called "Crownhall". 7 or 8 miles from Enniskillen.
They had 5 children born Derrylin County Fermanagh.
John   born 1825      William B 1837   James B 1842    Thomas
Albert B 1841 and Mary Jane B 1850.

Of these children James stayed and farmed "Crownhall" and the others John (GG grandfather) William   Thomas and Mary Jane all came to New Zealand.

James   B 1842   had a son   James (who died in 1963) who farmed Crownhall,   James had a son James (unmarried) who I believe still farms Crownhall..

I could not see in your townlands a DERRYLIN   Do you know if this is a town land or parish or?
In Your deaths of enniskillen there is a William Died in 1883 aged 93 informant Jane Rooney and in 1888 a Jane Rooney age 89 .maybe this is our William and Jane?

(note from me 25/08/2011)- I've Just heard that Beverleys husband had died in 2009.

I recently viewed your website and had to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I found no links to my Rooney's, but the site was so well done, attention to detail so complete, I could not leave without letting you know. Good luck to you in you endeavors.

In case you came across something that would help in my Rooney search, I have to ask: I have no firm county, but I found a James Rooney and Catherine who had a son Michael born in Manor Hamilton in 1855. No maiden name was given for Catherine, so I was unable to verify if she had been a Farrell. Michael emigrated to US in 1870 and settled in upstate New York (Watertown) where he worked for 18 years on the railroad until he died in 1888 (railroad accident). Children were Catherine, Michael, Lucy,(John) Thomas, (Wm) Patrick (twins), One child died at 4 years of age. His was named James.

First, I want to say that you have a wonderful website. Thank you for sharing your research.

My Rooney family left Ireland around 1835 for the US and settled in Rochester, New York.

Patrick Rooney b. Ireland abt 1790 Married Brigid Dalton in Ireland.

There may have been two sons, Patrick and James, who were born in Ireland too. Other names of children born in the US were:

Laura, Catherine, and Thomas.

I am assuming they came from somewhere in Northern Ireland.

Any help would be appreciated.
