This is the townland where my ancestors originated.

The Mary Rooney in house number 4 is the wife of John Rooney who's father was Patrick married to mary Mohan. We are 99% sure that this Patrick was the brother of my 3xgrandfather James Rooney,also of Eshnadarragh.

My 3xgrandfather James's house is number 10, occupied here by his son Thomas.

Francis McCaffrey was the brother of Thomas's wife Anne.

In House number 5 lived Phillip Rooney and his two sisters Rose and Anne. These three were the siblings of the late John Rooney, husband of Mary in house 4.
