Charles sailed to Boston,massachusetts  on 24-0401926, and  went to stay with uncle Thomas Rooney and his wife Margaret Rooney (Cosgrove)... Their address was 80 Ashland Street, Boston, Massachusetts  .     The  Ships manifest said he intended to stay for five years.

On the same ship going to the same address, also to see thier uncle Thomas were sisters Catherine and Margaret Rooney of Derryneese (parents Hugh Rooney/Bessie Cosgrove).

4.  THOMAS² ROONEY (CHARLES¹) was born 1856.  He married MARGARET COSGROVE, daughter of MATHEW COSGROVE ??.  She was born 1862.
